IIS modernization overview

The “Immunization Information System (IIS) Modernization” section expands the Data Modernization Planning toolkit to provide IIS programs with broader context and specific details to support programmatic alignment with national and local data modernization initiatives. The strategies in this section draw on insights from the IIS community about current modernization work, what successful collaboration looks like, challenges IIS programs face in their modernization efforts, and resource needs specific to IIS programs.

This section is divided into two components:
