Guidance from HL7 on eCR
Health Level Seven International (HL7) maintains guidance to allow EHR vendors and healthcare providers to electronically communicate the data needed in initial public health case reports to jurisdictional public health agencies using the electronic Initial Case Report (eICR), a standard based on clinical document architecture (CDA). Once users set up an account with HL7.org, they can freely download implementation guides, sample eICR files and stylesheets
