What is the EHR Toolkit?
This toolkit is an organized set of field-tested tools designed to support planning for a public health surveillance program that will rely on data from EHR systems. It is organized based on sound public health informatics principles and methods and includes seven sections, what PHII refers to as the surveillance information life cycle:
