Data flows at the speed of trust

Data modernization can be challenging work.

We know that data flows at the speed of trust, and that trust requires intentional relationship‑building. The tools in this section provide public health agencies with resources and strategies focused on building trust through active listening and collaborative engagement.

In the process of conducting interviews for the Data Modernization Stories from the Field project, the PHII team noticed a recurring theme across each of the jurisdictions we spoke with: the importance of communication. In the video above, we’ve compiled some highlights in which our featured interviewees discuss the reasons why communication is key to a successful data modernization plan.
