How Fairfax County’s health department tackled data modernization challenges

There’s no question that exchanging data among public health partners can be a challenge. In our previous DMI Stories from the Field video, we showed how communication is key when it comes to developing a successful data modernization plan. Recently, we spoke with the Fairfax County Health Department, located in the DC Metro area. The team shared how they’ve tackled various challenges while managing to include all of their partners in the process, accounting for various risk factors and ensuring the process keeps moving towards a successful outcome.
