Biography

Sheereen serves as a senior business analyst with PHII’s Requirements Lab, where she leads efforts around mapping public health processes. Sheereen returned to PHII in this role in 2023, but her professional history with PHII is extensive and varied. She initially joined the Task Force for Global Health in 2012 as a volunteer and later as a PHII intern with the Requirements Lab.

After her internship with PHII, she served as a service project coordinator and research assistant at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA). Her work with CHOA included mathematical modeling for laboratory tests for the pediatric intensive care units, analysis and collection of data for metro-Atlanta children diagnosed with asthma and subsequent interventions, as well as developing electronic data collection systems for multiple service lines. Sheereen returned to PHII in 2015 as a junior business analyst and departed PHII in 2020 for other opportunities. She has also since worked in senior healthcare and technology strategy roles, and operates her own healthcare startup, Between.

Sheereen is a two-time graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology. She received a Bachelor of Science in industrial engineering and a Master of Science in health systems. She also holds an MBA from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School.
