A RASCI (responsible accountable support consulted informed) chart organizes a project team across specific project responsibilities and deliverables. It allows for discussion about who will take the lead on a task or deliverable, who will be assigned to collaborate on a task and how that collaboration will work. Individuals, versus groups, should be identified for an activity whenever possible to enhance clarity of assigned roles.

The assigned project lead or project manager is typically responsible for building out this worksheet; however, it may be useful to complete together as a project team. It is very important that this worksheet be shared and discussed with the project team for transparency and clarification of roles and responsibilities.
