Lina Saintus serves as a Project Team Lead in the Practice Support Unit at PHII. Prior to this role, Lina served as a Public Health Informatics Fellow at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. She worked in the Division of Global Health Protection with the Global Epidemiology, Laboratory and Surveillance Branch, where she assisted countries with planning, writing and implementing COVID-19 sero-prevalence surveys. She also served as the project manager for the development of two innovative online tools used by GELSB staff.
Lina is a public health informatics professional with nearly 10 years of experience in the field and is broadly trained and experienced in informatics, epidemiology, strategic planning and project management. She received a Bachelor of Science in psychology from the University of Florida and a Master of Public Health in community health from the University of North Florida. She also earned a Doctorate in Public Health from the University of South Florida.
