Biography

As a project manager for PHII, Ashley Nash supports a portfolio of domestic public health projects. She has more than 12 years of public health experience and has had the opportunity to act in many different public health roles, giving her a multidisciplinary approach to project management. Ashley brings deep project management and public health experience to her role, having worked at the CDC, where she coordinated cooperative agreements and grants and led key research projects. While at CDC, she worked in the National Center on Birth Defects and Developmental Disabilities (NCBDDD), specifically on sickle cell disease, Zika, and Early Hearing Detection and Intervention (EHDI).

She holds a doctorate of public health degree and has a background in microbiology.
