The phases “execute” and “monitor and control” run somewhat concurrently, but when the following criteria are met, you are ready to move from the “execute” phase to either finalize the “monitor and control” phase or move straight to the “close” phase:

☑ Documented priority system requirements

☑ Procured external resources/products

☑ Signed service level agreement(s)

☑ Approved contingency plan
