Jim Mootrey, PMP
Prior to his mid-2019 retirement, Jim Mootrey was a senior project manager for PHII. In this role, he oversaw public health informatics projects, particularly in the area of child health. Before joining PHII's staff, Jim provided technical support to PHII as the information technology manager of The Task Force for Child Survival and Development.
Jim brought more than 20 years of technical experience from a number of diverse companies, including large corporations such as Digital Equipment Corporation. Prior to joining the Task Force, he worked for eight years as the network operations manager for XcelleNet, a global software development company.
Jim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts and has received various technical certifications. He also obtained the Project Management Professional Certification from the Project Management Institute.
