As Project Manager for the Common Ground program, Niki Buchanan coordinates the resources necessary for successful completion of Institute activities for the program. Specifically, Niki provides contract support to grantees, helps coordinate grantee training activities, and ensures that project milestones are in compliance with the program priorities.

Mrs. Buchanan began her professional career in Elementary Education and has since worked with several organizations in the area of training and curriculum development. She has 14 years of experience related to training and program management. Previous to joining the Institute, she was an Instructional Designer for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA). In this role, Mrs. Buchanan was a key member of a team involved in electronic medical records implementation for CHOA. She was also a training specialist and curriculum designer for the printing division of Canon USA. She holds a Master’s degree in Adult Education and Distance Learning from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of Florida.
